I would like to take this opportunity to thank talkleft.com for providing today's articles on mental health services for jailed juveniles. (I would give you the link to the LA Times article, but I haven't registered and the application is just too darn long to deal with today.) It is, in my opinion, a real shame that children...and no matter what they've done, they are still children...have to die for someone to pay attention to conditions in juvenile detention facilities. I only hope other detention centers and juvenile facilities take notes before they are faced with the same "problems" California and Arizona are apparently now facing...dead juveniles.
