My family is collectively holding its breath tonight. My uncle goes in for surgery at 6 am to remove the tumor from his neck. It will involve his jugular vein and multiple nerves and muscles. I just don't know what to do or even how to feel. This is the first time in my adult life I've really been faced with any sort of real family crisis.
